From the minds that brought us Neighbors 2, The Interview, Superbad, The Watch and This Is The End comes Sausage Party, writer Evan Golberg and actor Seth Rogen’s first full-length feature animated film. We were sold at ‘Sausage’.
The R-rated trailer was just released and follows a group of sausages and their fellow food as they quickly come to realize that getting out of their packaging doesn’t lead to the life of parties and good times as they once thought. We’d say that Rogen seems to be aiming at making everyone under the age of 8 become scared of eating anything, but we’re pretty sure no kid is going to be allowed to see this film.
The casting for Sausage Party looks like a reunion of Rogen’s 2013 film This Is The End, with Michael Cera, Jonah Hill, James Franco, Paul Rudd, Danny McBride, David Krumholtz and Craig Robinson all lending their voices to the food-centric film. The impressive cast of Sausage Party is rounded out by Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader, Salma Hayek, Nick Kroll, and Edward Norton.
